What is BS8901?
BS8901 is the British Standard for sustainable event management.
It offers a framework for all events, from a car boot sale to the Olympics, and allows event managers, suppliers and venues to track their sustainability and benchmark their progress. It was launched by BSi in November 2007.
The standard is a major step forward in making events in the UK more sustainable. It’s not a quick or easy rubber stamp, but neither should it be intimidating or stressful. eventberry has been created to make managing your BS8901 compliance integrated in to your general event planning. At every step of the way, the eventberry team are on hand to help guide you through the process and suggest potential suppliers and solutions.
